Showa Retro Projector 16mm Elmo D-2

ELMO's D-2 is a 16mm talkie projector released in 1951 (Showa 26).
Later, an improved version, the D-2s model, appeared in 1953 (Showa 28), but this product is the D-2 model.

Regarding this unit, the interior has been lightly cleaned, lubricated, and the belt, which was deteriorated, has been replaced with a urethane rubber one.

A test projection was conducted, and it displayed normally.
The lamp burned out during testing and has been replaced with a new, unused lamp.
Sound is also produced, but it is quiet and can be recognized at maximum volume.
A year ago, during testing, the sound was loud and clear.
This time, there was a brief moment of loud sound, but after that, it was as described above.
The film used was old, and the cause could not be determined by an amateur.
The film reels shown in the images are not included.
