[Product Condition and Description]
14 x 5 inch, 8-tension, 1mm thick steel shell.
Manufactured by Negi Drums in Shizuoka.
No manufacturer logo badge. This model does not have silicone filling in the edges.
*Since there is no logo badge, there are also no screw holes on the shell in four places.
Only the heads and snares are aftermarket parts.
The condition and operation of the shell/strainer & butt/tube lugs are good.
All 16 tension bolts are also in good condition.
All parts were checked before listing.
There is no wear or abnormality in the screw threads, and the switch assembly operates smoothly.
We have confirmed that tuning from low to high pitch can be performed properly.
*These are the most important points for a used drum.
Although cleaned, the plated parts have pitting due to age.
There are 3 impact marks on the top rim.

[Finally, please excuse my subjective opinion...]
A relatively lightweight steel snare.
It feels slightly heavier than a current Acrolite,
making it easy to carry and set up.
Regarding the sound...
It has a sound with a sense of openness and spaciousness,
but it also has a solid fundamental tone characteristic of steel.
You can enjoy changes in tone by replacing the rims (hoops) with 2.3mm thick ones or die-cast ones,
or by changing the heads and snares.
It is also possible to combine parts with other Negi or JUG snares that have the same mounting pitch.
