Stamped Ware 7-inch Bowl, Carp Design, Vero Blue, Meiji Period, Deep Bowl

This is a 7-inch bowl from the Meiji period featuring inban-style decoration. I purchased it at an antique shop over 30 years ago.

The design is refreshing, with two carp and flowing water motifs, along with aquatic plants, adorning the interior, and maple leaf patterns decorating the sides.

This is a charming, deep bowl that is attractive with its depiction of leisurely swimming carp, and would look great whether displayed or used.

Diameter approx. 23.5 cm, Height approx. 7 cm

There is a chip on the inside of the foot rim (images 9 and 10). There is a spot on the outside of the rim where the base material is visible, but this is not a chip, rather an unglazed area (image 10, lower side). As this is an old item, there are some scuffs, small chips, and stains due to age. Please understand that there may be kiln marks, impurities, or discoloration from smoke that occurred during the manufacturing process. As my assessment of the condition and era is purely amateur, please confirm with the images.
Please refrain from purchasing if you do not understand antiques or are concerned about minor details.
I have taken photos in natural light to make the colors as close as possible to the actual product, but please be aware that the colors may appear different on smartphones and PC monitors. Thank you for your understanding.

I am also listing various other Japanese antiques and tableware, so please take a look here.
