Vintage Top Hat and Cane Pin Gold Tone Black Enamel Pave Rhinestones Mid Century

This vintage novelty brooch/pin depicts a walking cane threaded through a rhinestone-studded top hat.  Crafted from gold-tone metal, the design features clear rhinestone pavé accents covering the crown of the hat, finished with a glossy black enamel coating along the hat's brim.  A classic vaudeville, dandy, or magician-theme, pieces such as this one were popularized as promotional theater jewelry.  This pin is in fair-to-good condition - the gold-tone finish is slightly faded and some of the black enamel is missing, however, all of the rhinestones are still in place and quite brilliant.
