Antique German Bisque Porcelain Double Spill Vase Cherub Putti Flowers Mold 322
N/A
Up for sale is a stunning, authentic antique Victorian/Edwardian German bisque porcelain figural double spill vase (circa 1890–1910).This unglazed matte-finish piece features a central sculptural cherub (putti) holding a dove, flanked by two ornate flared cornucopia-style vase pockets. The front facade is decorated with hand-tintedpastel applied porcelain roses, forget-me-nots, and detailed green leaves. Markings: The underside features an incised three-digit mold/model code 322 along with a distinct six-dot (::) incised factory inspector matrix near the back rim. This is a classic production hallmark of historical Thuringian region manufacturers (such as Gebrüder Heubach or Conte & Boehme). Very good antique condition overall. The gold moriage beading is excellent. The hand-applied flowers are remarkably intact, with only one tiny, microscopic chip on the upper-right blue flower petal. A faint, superficial hairline crease is visible in the porcelain paste surface behind the right rose stem, which is stable and does not impact structural integrity.... *** Post measurements shortly
