Vintage Nakagama Kiln Japanese Porcelain Tea Set Teapot 4 Cups Orange Gold White

Vintage (1960's - 1980's) Nakagama Kiln Japanese Porcelain Tea Set  5 Pieces Lovely vintage Japanese porcelain tea service by Nakagama Kiln, marked in on the underside with 中窯 above JAPAN. The complete 5-piece set includes one lidded teapot and four matching handleless tea cups.  This coordinated set has a soft white glaze with warm orange-red/rust accent bands, gold-tone trim, and gold calligraphy-style Kanji motif. The teapot is fitted with a tall swing handle made of wood tightly wrapped in a hard ivory plastic material, with a decorative X-pattern detail at the top.  Condition Pre-owned vintage condition. No chips, cracks, crazing or repairs noted. There may be light age-appropriate wear, including minor surface marks and/or light wear to the gold trim. Please see photos for the best representation of condition.  Measurements and capacity: Teapot - 4 Cup capacity - 4 H (7 to top of handle) 6 across to spout and 3.5 diameter top and base.
