Classic vintage 100% Irish linen short table runner with damask floral and scroll pattern running down the center.  45” x 12.25”  100% linen and Made in Ireland - this confirms its high quality and cultural heritage. The woven floral motif down the center that becomes more pronounced and lustrous when caught by light is a characteristic signature of historical Irish mills. This piece is a classic Irish Linen Double Damask, a style traditionally produced by historic weavers like Thomas Ferguson or Charles Gallen and highly prized for its exceptional craftsmanship, longevity, and structural weight…although this piece is now soft, light and pliable, not crisp and heavy, which is typical as linen fibers relax and soften over years of wash and wear.
