Crate & Barrel Made in Italy Heavy Ceramic Pepper Trivets Cork Back Set 2

Beautiful set of two substantial Crate & Barrel ceramic tile trivets, made in Italy. These are thick, heavy, quality pieces rather than lightweight decorative trivets. Each features a glazed yellow/orange pepper design with green leaves, a warm cream background and deep burgundy/rust accent along the bottom. Full cork backing protects tables and countertops. The substantial ceramic construction makes these functional as hot plates/trivets while also making an attractive display in an Italian, Tuscan or vintage-inspired kitchen. Great vintage/preowned condition. There are small surface variations and tiny imperfections that contribute to the aged, handcrafted character of the pieces. It is difficult to determine whether every minor variation is original to the ceramic finish or occurred with age, so please review photos closely for full condition. No major chips, cracks or significant damage noted. Cork backing shows minor age-related wear. Original Crate & Barrel / Made in Italy stickers remain attached.
