Beautiful vintage 1970s handmade granny-square crochet afghan featuring the ultimate retro color combination of chocolate brown, bright orange, sunny yellow and soft aqua/seafoam green. Constructed from six oversized granny squares with a brown scalloped border, this blanket brings instant groovy warmth to a sofa, guest room, camper or mid-century-inspired space.  Measures approximately 76 x 43 inches. Soft, cozy and believed to be acrylic yarn; no maker or fiber label is present.  This afghan has been professionally cleaned and is fresh, soft and ready to use. It has some light, age-related fading following cleaning, but the colors remain attractive and are represented accurately in the photographs. Minor yarn fuzz and loose fibers may be present from age and handmade construction. Overall, it displays beautifully.  A wonderfully nostalgic, one-of-a-kind piece of functional fiber art.
