Beautiful antique Noritake porcelain heart-shaped butter pats, circa 1920s–1930s. Set of six features hand-painted pink roses with soft lavender and green foliage on white porcelain, finished with delicate gold trim. Each is marked on the underside with the early Noritake “M in Wreath” mark for Morimura, along with “Hand Painted” and “Made in Japan.” This backstamp was used during the pre-WWII period after 1921. Approximately 2½ wide × 2¾ long each. Lovely for a vintage table setting and also beautiful displayed or repurposed as miniature trinket, ring or jewelry dishes. Antique condition with age-related wear to the hand-painted decoration and gold trim. There are natural variations between the six pieces consistent with hand decoration.
