Vintage 1961 Modess Teen Age Growing Up And Liking It Puberty Guide Booklet

Vintage Modess “Growing Up and Liking It” teen educational booklet produced by Personal Products Corporation. These pamphlets were distributed with Modess feminine hygiene products and were designed to help teenage girls understand growing up, hygiene, and social changes during adolescence.  The booklet features mid-century photography, informational text about menstruation and personal care, advertisements for Modess sanitary products and sanitary belts, and a printed “keep track” calendar section covering 1961–1963.  A fascinating example of mid-century health education and advertising ephemera that reflects how companies approached teen hygiene education during the early 1960s. Great for collectors of vintage advertising, medical history, social history, or paper ephemera.
