Lladro Gothic King & Queen 12002 12003 Gres Figurines Retired 1970 Pair

Beautiful vintage Lladró Gothic King and Gothic Queen matching Gres figurine set, sculpted by Julio Fernández. These early Lladró pieces were introduced in 1970 and retired in 1975 and feature a distinctive earthy matte Gres finish in muted cream, burgundy, brown and green tones.  The seated medieval King and Queen make an impressive companion display and are increasingly difficult to find together as a matching pair. Both pieces retain their authentic blue LLADRÓ Hand Made in Spain backstamps.  Gothic King #12002 Approx. 11 H × 4.6 W × 5 D Weight: 2 lb 3 oz  Gothic Queen #12003 Approx. 11 H × 4.5 W × 4.5 D Weight: 1 lb 15 oz  Condition: Queen is in excellent vintage condition with no chips, cracks or repairs.
