DBX 160A [Made in USA by HARMAN] Compressor/Limiter

This is a DBX 160A, Made in USA (manufactured by HARMAN).

I am no longer involved in music production and have kept this unit in storage for nearly 20 years. I am selling it because I have no opportunity to use it.

I confirmed sound output using the TRS terminals.
There was no crackling or static.
*I was unable to test the XLR (balanced) terminals as I do not have a cable.

I also have an AKG-era unit (Made in USA), and I had initially planned to sell them as a set. However, I noticed a clear difference in sound output between the two units, which may be due to individual unit variations.
Therefore, I decided to sell them separately, as they might not be suitable for stereo use together.

Regarding the sound, please consider this as my personal impression:
This unit has a clean and effective compression feel, making it easy to handle.

On the other hand, the AKG unit has a thick and powerful sound, with a more energetic output even when compared to the HARMAN unit.
Neither is superior to the other; I believe they can be used differently depending on the application.

Accessories:
A 3-pin power cable is included, although it is not the original.
The original box and manual are not included.

Other:
As this is equipment over 30 years old, please refrain from purchasing if you are seeking perfection.
