The pattern was designed by analyzing Mr. Yoshida's movements during fishing, making it less likely to hinder movement while fishing. Waterproof trousers are useful for a style without a jacket or bag. The main fabric is a 3-layer GORE-TEX fabric with excellent waterproof and breathable properties, with added water repellency to prevent water penetration. The front knee and hip areas, where thicker fabric is used, are designed not only for increased durability when bushwhacking but also with a material that makes it difficult for spiderwebs and dust to adhere. The gusseted crotch pattern allows for easy opening, making it attractive for dynamic movements. The adjustable shoulder and waist belts are designed to follow body movements during fishing scenes, which often involve a lot of bending, and to reduce the riding up or down of the pants. The front pocket can store tackle boxes and other items. The D-ring on the waist is also useful for attaching small items such as line cutters for fishing lines. The hem, finished with elastic shirring on the inside for a clean look, has a long side opening zipper for easy on and off, even when wearing boots.
