The outer box has been opened, but the item itself is new and unused, stored at home. It is likely from 2021. Please understand that the material forms its shape upon exposure to air, so there may be some difficulty in shaping it due to its age or other factors. Please make your purchase decision with this in mind. Subjectively, it feels soft to the touch.
