Description
This is a red-pin layer from the front, so it is firmer and harder than those from the red-pin layer. It's a beautiful specimen with a unique pattern. When viewed from the side, there is a line around the middle. This allows for a luxurious size where two blades can be sharpened by striking here.
Unlike the common, soft, and slippery stones, this hardness allows it to be used all-around for everything from carpentry tools to kitchen knives. It produces just the right amount of mud, effectively removes sharpening scratches to an invisible level, and its quality is undeniably superb! When properly soaked, it doesn't feel sticky and allows for smooth sharpening. The lines visible on the surface are grain lines and do not interfere with sharpening in any way.
There is a through-hole on the back, so please adjust accordingly.
