Heirloom mini popcorn seeds, not Glass Gem corn
10.00 $
Description
This listing is for 100 seeds of heirloom miniature popcorn.
Harvested in Autumn 2025.
These miniature corn cobs are smaller than Glass Gem corn and have more natural colors, making them easy to use for ornaments.
They are very cute.
We will ship 100 mixed seeds, separated, in a small bag.
They can be used for popcorn, but it is said that only about half will pop.
The advantages of this corn are:
2-3 mini cobs grow on each stalk.
You can harvest the entire thick stalk and use it as a decorative branch.
It looks beautiful in a vase, and is also lovely when propped up on a windowsill, display shelf, or wall.
These were not grown from seeds sold as feed for hamsters, etc. (Those sold as pet food imported into Japan may not be non-GMO).
No pesticides were used during cultivation.
We grow these separately from other corn varieties and at different times.
(Our fields are scattered.)
On Mercari, I have seen people selling miniature popcorn as Glass Gem corn, but miniature popcorn is not Glass Gem corn.
This miniature popcorn is an heirloom variety, while Glass Gem corn is a hybrid.
We will ship via the 4th Class Mail service.
