Used once or twice. This has been wiped down & and Sherpa pad washed. There are no odors or other issues. I believe this carrier has a recommended maximum pet weight of 12 pounds. I used it for our 15-pound pet without issues. After the initial need for a soft-sided carrier, we purchased a slightly larger one with a recommended max weight of 18 or 20 pounds just to be extra cautious. I am also selling the larger second carrier here in my Poshmark closet.
