Adorable vintage handmade Sunbonnet Sue applique with umbrella surrounded by a garden of flowers. Hand-stitched details throughout and pastel colors create a charming, cozy look. Light blue and colorful floral tones brighten any bedroom decor. Each Sue is dressed in charming pastel fabrics with hand-stitched details. Perfect for vintage nursery decor, heirloom gift, or collectors of handmade quilts and Americana. Great for display or gentle use. Dimensions are just shy of twin size at 64 x 78. Solid blue backing. Quilt was completed as a birthday gift in September 1978 and has the name and birthdate of the recipient embroidered in the corner. The quilt was never used as bedding or display and is excellent condition. There is some slight discoloration from storage where the blue backing has some faded areas (see photo with measuring tape near area).
