Old engraving (around 2010) LASKEY 65F Flugelhorn Mouthpiece
This is a rare, old 65F mouthpiece with the original stamp from the era when LASKEY himself, who passed away in 2018, was still making them.
I received it from an acquaintance in 2010.
For comparison, I believe the rim size is similar to a Bach 3C.
The cup is deep.
It is a large shank.
I have checked the insertion depth with Yamaha, Van Laar, and XO instruments.
There is a small dent on the side that does not affect insertion. There are signs of repair on the shank, but I don't think it's a critical issue, perhaps not as sensitive as on a trumpet, so you probably don't need to worry too much about it.
The inside is in good condition as it has been washed with water and cleaned with a swab after every use.
It's a high-quality mouthpiece that produces a very good sound, so I kept it, but I rarely use anything other than my main flugelhorn mouthpiece, and my main one is also a large shank, so I am putting this up for sale.
