Majestic collector's set - The American Bald Eagle Pocket Watch by Ted Blaylock, authorized by The Alaska Chilkat Bald Eagle Preserve and issued by The Franklin Mint. TESTED AND WORKING with new battery. This complete set includes the pocket watch, the original heavy sculptural display stand, matching chain, and embossed leather belt pouch. A stunning display piece and functional timepiece for any Americana, wildlife, or pocket watch collection. The watch features a detailed eagle portrait on the hunter case lid with ornate silver-tone filigree and faux leather border. Inside, the dial shows Ted Blaylock's soaring bald eagle artwork over a mountain river scene, with blue chapter ring and gold Roman numerals, signed Ted Blaylock and marked THE FRANKLIN MINT / JAPAN MOVT. The inside of the hunter cover is embossed with a soaring eagle over mountains.  CONDITION: Vintage pre-owned in very good condition. Stand has great detail with some natural patina consistent with age. Watch case shows light surface scratches and micro-pitting on the back as pictured, normal for age and vintage character. Pouch shows light wear but snap works well. Chain in good condition. Watch opens and closes securely, new battery installed and running strong. This is a hard-to-find complete set in working condition. The watch alone is collectible, but with the matching stand and pouch it makes an exceptional desk or mantel display that you can actually use.
